Expertise in Software and Service Systems Engineering
Innovative software enables completely new digital business models in companies and is a crucial basis for value creation that is tailored to customer needs. At the same time, software must be geared towards achieving corporate goals, be developed efficiently and securely and support the provision of profitable services. In the cross-faculty competence area of Software & Service Systems Engineering, we develop new methods and tools to implement innovations from and with software holistically and consistently. To this end, we integrate our methodological expertise across disciplines, from agile software development and information modelling to process management and service development through to the digital transformation of sales channels, customer interactions and customer relationships. Through this systemic approach, we consistently focus software development on successfully delivering the right services while establishing disruptive business models with the help of completely new software solutions.
