Who, how, where, when?

Are you studying computer science, computer engineering, business informatics, economics or related degree programmes and would like to make contact with companies in OWL and Paderborn University to discuss final theses, internships or jobs?

Then come to Zukunftsmeile 2 in Paderborn on April 16, 2024 between 2.30 and 6.30 pm without registration!

What you can expect

As in previous years, there will be a variety of opportunities to get in touch with companies and participating departments of Paderborn University in a relaxed atmosphere. Here are a few highlights:

Demonstrators

Don't just talk, also experience! Most companies present demonstrators at their booth, for example, to show you what they can do in virtual reality. Every booth offers something exciting to discover and you get to know the companies in a much more interactive way.

Company Pitches

Companies introduce themselves to you with pitches and briefly tell you what makes them special and why you should visit their stand and talk to them. (The schedule for the pitches will be announced here shortly).

Job Wall

Would you like to get an overview of the career opportunities available at the companies? Then take a look at our job wall, where specific vacancies for internships, direct entries and final theses are collected.

Drinks & Snacks

Do you need a break from traveling into virtual reality and talking to company representatives? Then raise your spirits again with our free drinks and snacks!

We look forward to a long-term connection! Find out more about our SICP Digital Talents Programme, with which we support committed students who are interested in the digitalisation of business and society beyond their studies and look forward to taking on management responsibility.

No registration required

You don't have to register in advance to take part in the SICP Student's Day. So feel free to drop by spontaneously - but already add a calendar appointment now for April 16, 2024 from 2.30 to 6.30 pm at the Zukunftsmeile 2!

Timeslot for Company Pitches

The company pitches will take place on our stage. We have bundled the companies into three groups so that there is enough time in between for a direct exchange at the company booths. The pitches will take place at 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm.

About the SICP

Innovation Campus Zukunftsmeile 2

At the SICP - Software Innovation Campus Paderborn, Paderborn University and 35 local companies are working together to research innovative concepts and turn them into marketable products. With our innovation campus Zukunftsmeile 2 in Paderborn, we have a new building near the Heinz Nixdorf Museum where we can work together on site. Once a year, we organise the SICP Students' Day to inform students about career opportunities at Paderborn University and our member companies.

How to find us

Zukunftsmeile 2 is not located on the Paderborn University campus, but near the Heinz Nixdorf Museum.

The "Ferrariweg" bus stop is located in front of the main entrance to Zukunftsmeile 2. This is served (after the PaderSprinter timetable change) by line 14 from the "Uni/Schöne Aussicht" stop and by line 9 from the main railway station.

There is a multi-storey car park behind the building if you want to park your car - however, only the lower floor is open without access authorisation. You can find it on Google Maps under "Parkhaus ZM2".

The Students' Day itself takes place in our spacious foyer - so you can't miss us from the main entrance!
